“I WANTED TO NARATE THE EXCITEMENT OF GETTING READY TO GO OUT, FEELING ON TOP OF THE WORLD AND HAVING AN AMAZING TIME!”

A couple of months ago I had an idea, scribbled it down and it snowballed from there and finally came to life this month. I wanted to create a really fun, sassy, upbeat and feel good video. 4 festive and party wear outfits, narrating the excitement of getting ready to go out for the evening, feeling on top of the world and having an amazing time. You can watch the end result over on my Youtube channel – I’m so, so happy with how it came out, I really, REALLY hope you like it! Would love to know your thoughts!

With that, I wanted to show you guys the looks behind the video – 4 totally different looks for all occasions! As always I’ve linked the outfits for you guys to treat yourselves to a cheeky festive treat ๐Ÿ˜‰ Would love to know which one is your fave!

THE FESTIVE RED NUMBER

Red looks incredible on everyone and for the most part of the year – it stays solely on my lips and nails. But this gal goes all out in December! You might have seen this dress in my holiday lookbook – a perfect piece for on the beach but also by the Christmas tree! Layered, ruffled and tiered to perfection this floaty number is guaranteed to get you compliments.

Extravagant or simple, short or maxi – pick a tone of red whether it’s deep and vampish or bright and merry and you’re good to go. Dress it down with black leather boots and a biker, or glam it up with a faux fur coat and costume jewellery. Festive headwear not essential but preferred ๐Ÿ˜‰ย

FOR THE NONE DRESS LOVER

Sometimes you just don’t want to wear a dress. My tomboy roots run deep from my childhood and although a silk playsuit is hardly super, masculine, I love to experiment with different shapes and textures. Plus this embellished jacket is AMAZE and I wanted it to do the talking (aside from the insane diamond sock boots of course!)

Playsuits and jumpsuits are an amazing and chic alternative to a dress, as well as a killer skirt and shirt combo! I’m loving silk and velvet textures for the party season and embellishment is always welcome (plus more is totally more this season ๐Ÿ˜‰ )

THE FLOATY NUMBER

I love a good, figure hugging dress now and again but ‘tis the season for cheese and roasted vegetables and Christmas selection boxes, so sometimes you gotta appreciate it when life throws elasticated waistbands your way. ๐Ÿ˜‰ This Debenhams piece was love at first sight, it’s so so beautiful, gives me major Needle and Thread vibes with the embellishment and is also SUPER COMFY which is always a winner in my books! Pair with biker boots for day time and emphasise it’s elegance with heels and a bright lip come evening time! A fab all rounder partywear option!

THE SPARKLY, SEQUIN, SASSY NUMBER

Whenever the Party, Christmas and New Years eve season comes around – my mind is flourished with pictures of sequins, sparkle and a whole lot of sass (which is definitely what inspired the lookbook!) This Next Dress is everything I love about this time of year – it’s playful, fun and makes me feel amazing! I’m also obsessed with the 1920’s flapper dress vibes!ย

Being a self confessed under dresser, I still think everyone needs at least one sparkly option in their life (and wardrobe!) I also love the sequinned, t-shirt styles that are around too! Long, short, fitted or floaty there’s so many amazing glittery pieces around, ASOS is definitely my fave go to!
