I‘ve been an avid devotee and user of Pixi products for years now. I heard wonderful things on the online, beauty, grapevine and they weren’t half wrong. Their packaging is fun, makeup is pigmented and their skincare always achieves above and beyond what it says on the tin, so what’s not to adore and keep me coming back for more?

With that, I thought I’d trawl through my skincare cabinet and pick out the Pixi products that I’m always faithfully reaching for, or packing for a weekend away. From cleansers, tonics, toners and oils – here’s hoping you pick up a few favourites on the way too.

Now I have to admit, this is probably one of my favourite skincare collections of theirs! I even got my sister hooked on this one. Aside the packaging looking stunning on your shelves. (I always get great satisfaction opening my skincare drawers and cabinets – it’s the small things and rituals that contribute to our happiness after all!) The products also smell delightful and leave my skin super calmed. In particular, the Rose Ceramide cream is rich (but not too thick!), is a treat for the senses and is perfect when my skin is feeling a bit out of kilter. The Pixi Rose Flash balm is a multitasking wonder, so perfect for travelling; it’s a moisturiser, mask or primer and oil free! This is one to stay in your makeup bag.

Likewise, the cleanser is the ultimate, gentle and luxe way to wipe away the day and the Rose Oil is the most beautiful way to unwind at the end of the day. Massage into cleansed skin for a lovely, evening ritual. I also love how moisturising the rose infused range is without being overly heavy!

The above aren’t products I use daily, per say, but more a couple of times a week or on rotation with other masks or scrubs. I think the biggest love affair I have with Pixi beauty are these damn, incredible, DetoxifEYE pads; lord you need these in your life. These hydrogel patches help de-puff and reduce under eye circles, but primarily I use them as a treat to relax, as they’re so cooling. Keep in your fridge and thank me later. The peel and polish is a wonderful treat to help with smoothness and acts as a gentle, enzyme, peel to resurface the skin for a soft, healthy glow.

For when my skin is in need of a pick me up and detox, I slather on the Glow Mud Mask, which is gentle and purifying and a lovely mid-week treat! If you’re into peel off masks, the T-Zone peel off is perfect and again, not harsh or stripping the skin of moisture. Fun, gentle and cleanses those pores out! (Plus we all know how satisfying peel off masks are!)

I feel incomplete without a face mist in my handbag or makeup bag! Whether you’re setting makeup to give it more longevity, want to refresh your base or need a peek me up on a humid, day, they’re perfect to instantly give your face a new lease of life! They have several mists available for various skin types, my personal faves are the Rose Glow Mist (love that it provides free radical protection as well as leaving your face dewy!) The Pixi Makeup Fixing Mist is also a winner, does what it says on the tin and is super refreshing. My last fave spray (and not pictured here) is the Pixi glow mist, with propolis and argan oil. It smells incredible and gives your skin a subtle, dewy, sheen. (amazing layered over matte foundation that you want to look more natural)

I saved the best (and most infamous) until last. If there’s one product you’ve heard of from Pixi Beauty, it’s probably their Glow Tonic! It gently removes excess oils and impurities and helps exfoliate, all whilst smelling delicious. I tend to use this swept over my face on a pad to instantly refresh and rejuvenate when it’s feeling a little dull! Two other toners that have stolen my heart are the Rose tonic and Retinol tonic! Both brilliant but for different things. The Retinol Tonic I use slightly less (to avoid retinol overload if I’m using a night cream with it in!) but it’s an ingredient known to preserve youth, and rejuvenate skin. Saying that, it’s very gentle and also has antioxidants and botanics, to soothe sensitive skin. The Rose Tonic, on the other hand, is perfect to calm and soothe any redness, so is always my go-to on days where my skin feels irritated. It also helps rebalance PH levels and replenish skin, so great for lots of skin types!
